So is newsbin dead now?
Quade said years and years ago he was g\oing to do a UI update but has done nothing. It seems dead now. Just asking.

Indeed, no developments for a lllong time. Still unsing NB. Never looked for alternatives as NB works fine.

No, not dead. After 26 years I'd say we are in maintenance mode. Quade makes tweaks from time to time and there is a 6.91 Beta that made it's 7th revision earlier this year. Link here: https://forums.newsbin.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=48166

As nbwul62 said, it still works fine for most people.

Thanks to everyone for sticking with us all these years.

Sorry to hear that but after allmost 15 Years of staying with Newsbin I have wandered off to SABNZB because i do not see any development with the gui which is still in kind off WIN XP look

I did not follow for what is under the hood of Newsbin, only the gui, but since about 2 years Iam using SABNZB - its about time to ask "give me a reason to come back to Newsbin"

We've always been function over form. Visually talented GUI designers can slap something pretty on damn near anything. Newsbin's focus has always been functionality and performance.
