Is it possible to filter by poster's name?

No, you can sort on poster name though. Just click on the column header labeled "From".

You can filter a poster out by using the Lockout Poster function on the right-click menu. You can't show only a specific poster, though.

Good point, I thought about that after I posted. But it sounded like he wanted to filter in certain posters, not filter them out.

Yes that is correct. I was wanting to filter in posters. 1 or 2 years ago I couldn't imagine wanting to do this. But as of late I have been dl'ing from a handful of posters and sorting through hundreds of spam, hwih, and reposters.

Thanks for the reply!
