6.91 RC3 5885 eats up disk space when posting

I been using 5885 and I went to post a 10gb archive and when I selected post, and the repairing post windows pops up it takes forever on each file. After five minutes I got a message dialogue saying my disk is out of space I started with over 100GB free. I went into my app data and deleted the newsbin post folder. I tried the same archive with 6.90 everything was quick and posted like normal.

I think I already fixed this in RC4. I'll make sure.

Thanks. Each block should be under 1 Megs. So, if they're much bigger than that, that's the problem.

Another issue I found with 5885. I went back to 5885 after successfully posting I wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem that I created so I didn't want to double post to the same group, I tried to add a group, but it didn't let me select any new groups. i got it to allow me by selecting the binaries or pictures options.
