Can an update of new message headers be cancelled?

Postby Moondawgie » Fri Apr 26, 2024 3:20 pm

Is there a way to cancel an update of new message headers that won't cause corruption of the database files?

And if there is, would a subsequent update of headers pick up from where the cancelled update left off?

If you delete it from the download list. It'll stop and restart next time where it left off.

Stopping a header download doesn't impact the DB because the DB is updated outside the download process. It will only up date with complete blocks of headers.

That is good to know, and very helpful.

Thanks.
