External backup drive q

I need to get a backup drive and will be going to Best Buy. What’s a good external that’s better then 5400rpm? I don’t see rpm mentioned for anything and I assume they’re all 5400. I will be getting something over 1tb but no idea about their rpm. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

I ended up getting an Easystore 4tb external drive. It's slow tho. Now i want to get a fast drive that has more then 4tb of space. What is out there that's faster then 5400 rpm and external? I've seen a 12tb drive but i bet it is 5400 rpm. Plus the case is large and needs its own power cable.

Should i just get the largest ssd i can afford and get an external case for it? i dong need ssd speed, but i hate 5400 rpm.

I ordered one of these then installed an NVME SSD in it. It worked great.
