BitDefender thinks malware is going on?

Postby JuanFusy » Fri Sep 28, 2018 12:17 pm

Hello All,
Started using the new Bitdefender 2019 about a week ago (legit!) and all of a sudden I get possible malware reports.
It appears that some texfiles, like the logfile are crypted or something and BD thinks this is malware.
Can anybody spread some light on why this is happening?

Regards, Leo.

The log file is a simple text file so, I have no clue. I'd suggest asking bitdefender. In fact, I'd probably make it ignore the whole data folder.

Of course, will do, just wanted to make sure there's no hocus pocus in the way the text file is written too, it was empty btw, which is normal i guess?

It mirrors what's in the logging tab so, it depends on log level and what you're doing.

Mmmm, it no longer gives this message anymore, guess someone else reported it before I could, so no longer an issue, as we thought, thanks Quade
