Newsbin not finding .rar parts

Postby rozel » Mon Aug 20, 2018 5:22 am

Hi

I know this isn't Newsbin's fault but I am struggling to download anything as Newsbin reports "Error 430 not found". I have been using Newsbin for many years now and never had an issue. I've always updated to latest version and even the latest beta just now. However Newsbin just doesn't find anything. I use 2 Usenet Providers, am aware of Obfuscation and so am not sure what is happening.

Has anything changed and what changes if any, do I have to make please?

Any help would be gratefully received

What news server are you using? 430 errors are always news server problems. Typically it means the server has removed these files.

Some content gets pulled pretty quickly. I'd try downloading something recently posted and see how it works. You could give Usenetserver a try too but all US based servers pull content (and some foreign based).

Thanks - I had hoped that it wasn't Newsbin and yes, I believe you are right. I'll see how things go over the next month.

I appreciate your support
