Multiple Concurrent Unrar?

Postby jazzman4x » Sat Jun 23, 2018 6:49 am

Hi,

Running 6.80 on Windows 7 x64 SP1.

Is there any way to have multiple UnRar happening concurrently?

"Pause DL during UnRar" is unchecked, which works well to get the files from the server to my box, but then NB bottlenecks doing the UnRars.

The machine runs disk pooling software, so disk-wise should be able to support more concurrent disk activity than one UnRar. CPU activity also has a lot of headroom as during UnRar CPU use (8-core) stays in the 1-2% range with occasional spike to only 10%.

Thanks,
David

It's not built to do more than one at a time. It's something I consider for the future because of SSD's but most spinning disk will be less than 1/2 the speed if you do 2 or more.
