Downloaded headers not appearing on group page

For the last three weeks or so, I have been unable to add any new groups. Anytime I try to add a new group, I can see it d/ling the headers on the download page, but they never appear on that group's page, it stays at zero. I don't think I have changed any settings. I'm using Astraweb and Newsbin Pro 6.72.

d1 - What's your "storage age" set to? If it's too low and the group is dead, the posts might get thrown away as soon as they're downloaded.

2 - If you look down where it says "Cache" on the main window. Do you see a number in parens? If yes, this represents "blocks of posts waiting to import".

Might need to manually clean out the "Import" folder in the data folder (from the options select "Open DataFolder").

Storage age set to 5000. I cleared out the import folder (28 entries). There were (29) in the cache. I shut down and restarted. Tried one of the "0" groups again. Headers downloaded on download page, but no headers appeared on the group page. Now there is (1)in the cache.

Until the 1 goes away, you probably won't see any headers.

6.80 changed the format of the stored headers on disk to text files because virus scanners were screwing with the older GZ files. You're using an older version so it still uses the GZ files.
