Corrupt newsbin RC6/RC7??

Postby mankind99uk » Fri Mar 30, 2018 3:20 pm

Hi,

I've started having a problem downloading either by nzb or headers. Newsbin RC6 or RC7 will download the file and unrar it, (doesn't delete the pars either), but then the program will hang straight afterwards with the "blue circle" constantly spinning and the message that newsbin is "not responding". End task does nothing, the only way to continue is to hard boot the computer. Its happening nearly all the time.
I do have newsbin RC6 on another pc with sonarr and that works fine.
I'm wondering if something has gotten corrupt somewhere and if so which files will need deleting, without reinstalling if possible.

Thanks

How about reinstalling from scratch? I'm skeptical that Newsbin could cause the kind of hang that even Task Manager can't kill. The symptoms suggest some system level issue.

I'll try a reinstall then.
