After upgrading to 6.80b2, Newsbin crashes

I updated to 6.80b2 a few weeks ago. Ever since then, Newsbin crashes while downloading headers about 50% of the time. It only crashes while downloading headers. Restarting is usually ok.
I didn't report it, as I assumed many others would have the same problem, but this is apparently not the case.
I also thought this might be a marketing campaign to use search instead of headers (just a joke but that is the practical outcome for me.)
What do I need to upload to help debug?

I noticed there was a 6.80b4. It doesn't seem to crash with b4. I'll bash it a bit more.

I still have a couple reports of crashing in B4/B5 so I'm looking into it. Thanks.
