Par2 bug?

When the first par2 file (without any repair blocks) is corrupt, Newsbin downloads the set then leaves it there. I have to manually download a valid par2 file (ie. the 01.par2 file) for it to process and unrar it.

Is this fixed in 6.73?

Don't know. The difficulty is finding one to test on. I'd think after the retries expired, it should start downloading the rest of the PARS one par at a time.

I noted your comment and will look to see if I can reproduce it.

I'm still having this problem as of 6.73.

In the log it says ERROR AutoPAR: PAR file is Damaged, Unable to Add Parfile: xxxx.PAR2

I have to manually unpause one of the smaller PARs to get it to repair and process the download.

Yeah, it's a real chicken/egg problem.
