no lightning

this little thingy has stopped working.
nothing happens when i click on it.
all other "download latest group updates" and everything else o.k.
6.72 build 4776 & win8.1.

Make sure the groups are all checked in the "group of groups" what you're trying to update. If they aren't checked in the groups tab, they won't update.

ah...yes. seems that later versions of newsbin go slightly over my head.
what about a k.i.s.s.-version for us over 60?

I assume you subscribed to some groups and are looking at a listing of what's in the group because "Search" doesn't have the lightning bolt.

When you load the groups up, you either double-click the groups or double-click the container that holds the group or something like that. Look at the group, they have round icons on the left and click them if they don't have check boxes to enable those groups.

If you're doing something else, tell me.
