A couple groups have stopped downloading headers

Windows 10 / Newsbin v 6.72, Build 4776

A few months ago, a couple groups stopped downloading headers, problem persists. I did a searched for posters, and see recent posts to those groups. I read about this issue in history, but quite old comments? Help Appreciated!

Well, it's either a bad group in Newsbin or a problem with your news server or people not posting to that group anymore (but maybe posting to other groups).

First, I'd look down at the status bar near where it says "Cache" if you see a number in parens, then you might have a stuck group.

1 - In the options select "Open Data Folder"
2 - Look in "Import"
3 - Try to delete all the files there. If one is stuck, you'll have to exit Newsbin then delete.

It's normal for files to collect there for a short time but if the number never shrinks, a group is probably stuck or damaged.

Then try downloading headers again.

If that doesn't unstick it, I'd probably right click, "Post Storage/Delete Stored Posts" on the stuck group. Then set some download age and then download headers that way.
