Read Posst Body rarely gives me post's body

Postby lordkinbote » Tue Jun 07, 2016 2:15 am

Hi,
I'm not sure when it stopped working as usual (showing headers then post body below), but I think it's been within the last 3-4 releases...maybe. Now it never shows the headers and most times, especially on smaller text posts, opens Notepad with just a message saying "RAW: No Filename." On slightly larger text posts (more than 1 or 2 sentences), it will still say that at the top and below may have the message or part of it. It's difficult to say for sure if it's only part of the message, but there seems to be text missing like the beginning, end or both of the message is gone. It's definitely possible that something has changed in the settings that I need to find and tweak, but I couldn't find any reference to reading the post bodies in the Settings. :?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

v6.71B2 Build 4649, but like I said, it's been doing this for me for the last 3 or so versions.

PM me an example of something you're Ctrl-Ring. I just tried a couple. Many were requests and they had nothing in the body at all. The subject was the message. Others had a line or two of text.

Dex wants me to put the headers back in. Maybe that would make it look better to people.

Ok, I'll have a fix in the next beta. Thanks for the report.

Thanks. I appreciate it. So, were you able to see the post's body?

Nothing working as well. Can I send you my crash report some how, for you to help me check?

Just wanted to say thanks for fixing this. I had originally reported it back in May in another thread and I am super happy to see the whole body and the headers coming back. I'm using 4766.

Sounds good. So far 4766 seems pretty solid.
