Filtered posts - how do I stop them showing up?

I pretty much only check one group. Recently it's been absolutely dumped on by one user with crap I don't want to see. Thousands of postings a day.
I blocked all posts from that user. Now they all show up red and labelled as "Poster Filtered". I can manually right click and delete all postings from that user.

Is there a way to stop them even show with no intervention? I don't really care if they are downloaded, they're just headers. But It's annoying to see my list with 90% of it red.

It you look at the screen you should see a "Power" looking button in the middle/top. Press it to enable the filters.
