watchlist processing suspends downloads

Hi, I am using the watchlist and it seems that while the watchlist is being processed other activities including downloads are suspended. I added a number of watchlists which means that periodically it is as though newsbin is locked up processing the watchlist. Perhaps service one watch object rather than check the entire list and then check the queue? Is there a setting I can change to alter the behavior?

What version are you using? Watch lists run in their own thread so, they shouldn't impact downloading in any way.

There's only one download list. If something is feeding new files to the download list, I could see it stalling while the feed is going on.

I am running 6.62 build 4348. I am looking at 110 items on the dl list, the log only shows cycling the watchlist. I just restarted newsbin to get it to process the dl list. Was the state machine changed for 6.6x?

Further note, I have also observed the dl list not being immediately populated at startup which is new to me in this version (sometimes NB is processing the list but it is not displayed, odd that).

It's probably cleaning out the files list. I've sped that process up in the 6.70 beta. If you exited with > 4000 files in the files list, it'll clean them out when you restart.
