Stopping scheduled downloads when time is up.

Postby tdcsparky » Wed Oct 14, 2015 10:17 pm

I want to use the scheduler to download from 3 to 8 am. At 8 am I want the download to stop even if there are files in the Q. I have not been able to find how to automatically stop the download.
Thanks Thomas Christian WF3O

You ought to be able to set the blocks of time where you don't want downloads to happen to "PAUSE" state.

I tried that. If there are downloads in the Q they will continue after the end set time.

Header downloads can't be paused. Only file downloads can be paused. What's downloading, headers or files? The reason you can't pause a header download is that it's one long successive download. File downloads are chunked up and easy to interrupt.
