Sorting on Status Column not working correctly

When I load a custom group and down load a bunch of files then go back to the custom group and sort the group by the status column it doesn't fully sort the group it will do a few as downloaded then skip some and have idle, incomplete, and failed mixed in together. Newsbin lists on the status column files that have failed as downloaded. Shouldn't the Status be failed?

Sorting has not worked for a few months or more.

I am using Build 4289, 6.61 RC3 and it clearly does not sort properly, I see it for most any group. It does not even get close to grouping each of the status messages all together. There are large blocks of the same status, but then it starts a different status. Using Windows 7.

More information: I just sorted a single large group, not a combined group (i.e. a few news groups in the groups list) and it seems to work. Perhaps the problem occurs when groups are combined.

I'll check it out again today. Most things seem to sort. There's some oddball stuff that doesn't.
