Those results appear to be .zip files which we are filtering as probable spam. I'll look into excluding this group and allowing .zip files.

It's going to take a few days for me to test the changes and re-index all the karaoke groups.

You are beating a dead horse. I've already acknowledged a problem and I am working on it.

I was wrong about the source of the problem. There are a ton of .zip files available in the karaoke groups. Your specific search was accessing results > 2 years old which would reside in our archive database. Since this is not a widespread critical problem I have reduced the priority on it. I still plan to address it this week but the problem isn't as bad as I thought.

Oh ok is there not an option on Newsbin to search later posts?
that would solve my problem looking for certain tracks

cheers

On a search, Newsbin will find the first 2000 matches, whether it's in the active database or the archive database. If you have more than 2000 results, you can get the next 2000 results by clicking the "Load Older Posts" button that is to the third button to the right from the Search field. The fact that we have an active and an archive database is totally transparent to searching. I only mentioned it because in your case, your missing files should be in the archive database. It's just a matter of me rebuilding it for this group but I have a few other higher priority tasks to knock out first.
