Rar password feature broken ?

Hi !

I have a problem with newsbin 6.60 B13. Looks like the Rar password feature is no more working.
I used to have password registred there, but they are no more recognized, leading some of my downloads to go to the failed files list (error message is : Unrar failure file set is encrypted and no password was found)
Nothing happens when I go to options/Rar password nor use the Ctrl+O shortcut...

Any idea ?

PS : I had to disable the "fail rar file that need passwords" filter to be able to go on downloading, and of course had to unrar manually the files from my encrypted rar.

How about PMing me the subject of one of these files and the password and I'll try it. If it's an NZB you can email the NZB to ts@newsbin.com

i have been having the same issues. Rar password list inoperative for all files, cant even paste a password into the list. Any ideas?

What version are you using?

So, you use "Options/RAR Passwords" menu and you can't type a password in and add it with "Add New"?

Using latest 6.6 beta 15. RAR passwords has been an issue for a little while (about month and a half). I can type in a password in the input block ok and it accepts it, however when I have a list of passwords created, the list sometimes goes blank and in no circumstance will it apply the rar password. Really strange as this feature always worked in the past. Also, I used to be able to "paste" a password into the input block...haven't been able to do that for many months. I try to keep up on the latest builds and stable betas. This has been one of the first issues that I have ever encountered.

I just closed and restarted newsbin, the last file urrar password (from existing list) was successful...strange...Could it be that by leaving newsbin running all the time has created an issue? A memory leak or something? In either case rar password working again. However, I still cannot paste a password into the add new test block by either cntl-V or mouse clicking paste.
