ERROR NZB File Load Failed: WON'T STOP!!!!!!

Running V6 Pro on 64bit W8.1
Tried to load an NZB but it failed, and then I deleted it. Now I get this error every 3 seconds for the past few days. Message received! I get it. Can't load the NZB. Now how do I make it stop telling me that? Or stop trying to load an NZB that doesn't even exist? I've exited, rebooted, but I have not deleted any config files. I just need to remove it from the queue somehow.

Can't say I've ever heard of that happening before.

You can disable the popup window in the prompts options. All the same messages are in the logging tab.

How did you load the NZB?

Honestly I don't recall. It was in an autoload directory, but I don't think it showed up so I may have manually dragged it in there. I'd rather not disable the error notification, because it keeps me filled in on important things like when I can't access the servers, or when (ironically) an NZB didn't work.

Maybe someone out there who knows how newsbin works knows where that queue list is stored so I can go in and remove this?

You're not going to find anyone who knows more about it than I do.

Under the folder where you autoload, there should be a "Loaded" folder. I might clean that out. Newsbin is finding an NZB somewhere. It suggests haven't deleted the correct one yet.

You could run procmon and watch where Newsbin is loading it from too.

Cleared that folder out days ago. In fact, the error message indicates that the NZB it's failing to load is from the Loaded folder. I delete the folder (within Loaded) but Newbin just recreates it.

It's normal for it to re-create it.

In Newsbin in the options select "Open Data Folder". Then exit Newsbin.

Delete:
"temp"
"Samples"
"Read Posts"
"Posting"
and if you see any folders that start with "Nzb" I'd delete them too.

I'd probably delete:
SPOOL_v6\Nzbs
too

Then restart Newsbin. I don't know which version you're running so I'm guessing a little.

I really don't know why you're having this issue so, I'm just shotgunning the problem. There really is no NZB Queue. Newsbin reads the NZB, writes it to the Nzbs database. Then reads it back in for download. Your symptoms point to it still finding the NZB somewhere on disk.

I thought it was still finding it too, but the problem is, it gives me the complete filename, and that just ain't there.

So, all of those folders were empty already. That didn't help.

I went through the options and removed the Save Failed Files List on Exit, then restarted, but that didn't help.

I put a new copy of the NZB in the location it was looking for, and it still produced the error, plus it removed that file. Remember, the NZB it's failing to open is in the Loaded folder. Perhaps trying to load an NZB from the Loaded folder causes the problem, as newsbin tries to remove the NZB?

Finally, I deleted the Watched Folder that contained that. THAT got the errors to stop coming up.

I'll try to recreate the watch and see if the error restarts, but at least I got it to stop.

Again, if I had to guess, I'd say that the error was caused by trying to manually open an NZB from the Loaded folder within a Watched Folder.

That's possible. The loaded folder is where the autoload code loads from so the folder get some special handling.

Recreating the watch folder recreated the error, so I deleted the watch, when into that folder, and deleted the Loaded folder. Once that was done, I recreated the watch and we're good to go.
