Here's a summary of New Features:
- All SSL connections are now TLS 1.0 instead of SSLv3. Drops back to SSL if the news server doesn't support TLS
- Now supports SickBeard/SickRage. Go under the Options menu and look for "SickBeard Integration".
- New Watch list interface.
- Simplified Filter Configuration Screen.
- Download List and Files List now perform a paged loading. It does not load the entire list from the DB, only what is needed to display.
- Improved AutoPAR functionality, better repair capabilities.
NOTE: The Download List is incompatible with anything prior to 6.60! We recommend you finish any queued downloads before installing this beta. This applies to the Wish List and Failed Files list too.
There is a ton more information on the Newsbin Beta Page, including more details about how the AutoPAR support is better as well as many other enhancements and fixes over the last production release of Newsbin.
As you start playing with this beta, please either reply to this thread or send us a message through our Technical Support Form with any questions or issues.
Have fun!
