Version 6.54 Beta 1 Available...

Quade as been working on a 6.60 version but we decided we need to go back and fix a few more minor issues that showed up in the 6.5x series. This cycle should have very few beta releases as we hope to move it in to production quickly so we can start the 6.60 beta testing.

Here is a summary of changes:

• Fixed issue with spam filter settings where "Fail RAR Files that need Passwords" could not be turned off.
• Includes new version of sqlite to hopefully speed database access.
• Upped the priority of header import routines to speed background header processing.
• Items in download list that run out of retries, but have PAR2 files, now stay in the download list awaiting user intervention.

Good evening,

Sins a while i have the following issue.

If i download a nzb file WEB-DL mkv and import this whit a double mouse click everything is going alright, but when i wan to import a 720p HDTV mkv i see that the download is only 146MB , while the file originally is 997 MB.

The problem is the in filter profiles, under rar archives, under subject accept, if i disable this one the import is correct and all the nzb files are correct importing.I want you guys to ask if you could check this. If you want i have 2 examples. Looks like the rar files are not importing correctly. The problem only happens when i enable the rar filter settings in any way.

I already reinstall newsbin and a friend of my has the same problem. I hope you can fix this.

In the NZB options, do you have an NZB Load filter set? You can email the NZB to ts@newsbin.com for Dex or I to look at.

Normally filters don't apply to NZB's so, I think it sounds like you have a load filter set in the NZB Options.

Correct, the problem only exist if the rar filter filter is active.

As well the NZB loading filter under nzb options, the filter profile in the nzb wachtdog, as the post unrar filter in the autopar options. The problem is only gone if [.]par and [.]rar are deleted or disabled.

Newsbin is doing what you told it to do. Go under Options/NZB Options and set the NZB Loading Filter to None and it won't apply the filter. Or, you can modify the "RAR Archives" filter profile to allow .rxx files. In your case, the .r00 - .r17 files are getting filtered. If you add [.][r-z][0-9]{2} to the Subject Accept filter then it'll get the full set in this case.

Aha ok. didn't see it was .r00. Stupid of me.

Edit:

I added [.][r-z][0-9]{2} and now it is working.
