Default folders and par files

Postby chroma601 » Sun Sep 07, 2014 10:58 pm

I've never messed with adjusting the default folder structuring. But frequently a download will result in the PAR files winding up outside the folder, and Newsbin stuck with the PAR files apparently expecting to run them but they're not where the rest of the download is. My solution is to simply move them into the folder or folders and manually run QuickPAR, then remove the PARs from the download queue. Is there a setting I am unaware of that might accomplish this automatically? I don't mind the nested folders...

I have no idea how that's happening... Hmm, maybe you have a deep path and Newsbin has to shorten the path to make the files land?

Make a folder called "C:\Download\" (or any drive you want that Newsbin can write to).

Then in the options, change the download path to this new path and see what happens.
