The Black Screen of Death in Newsbin Pro

I was downloading headers for a new group that I had just added.

I have had NBP up for a few days.
I switched over from full screen mode to minimum so I could look at comments from the forum. When I went back to NBP there was the spinning aero and a black bckgrd screen and solid blue line on the bottom screen. I went to task manager and it showed that NBP not responding.:(

Is there anything else I can do at this point to get NBP to respond other than going to Start Manager
and ending process(Win7)?
