Minimum file size

Postby enchant » Sun Jul 27, 2014 5:18 pm

Lately when I search for a show that aired last night, I get a list of several zip files that are certainly not the show. For example, I'll search for the latest episode of "Example Show", and I'll see maybe a dozen things along the lines of:
Example.Show.S01E05.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-NTb.zip
and they're all 33MB in size. I don't know if this is some new ploy by a spammer or virus spreader, but I'm sure I don't want what they're selling.

In version 5.x, there was a way to save the minimum file size setting. Using 100MB solves the problem outlined above, but I have to set it every time. I can't find an option that allows me to make 100MB the default minimum file size.

Ok, I'm guessing there is no longer a way to do this.

You can set a global size filter if you want it to apply all the time. Go under Options/Filters, click on "Global" under the Filter Profile column, and set your Minimum File Size there. Keep in mind this will apply all the time to everything (except NZB files). You can also create a custom filter profile and assign that to a specific filter profile with the minimum file size set then select that filter profile on the Search tab. It will remember it between searches.
