View only collections after loading newsgroup(s)

Hello,

I can imagine this was asked before but couldn't find it in the forum search function: when I load a newsgroup, or multiple newgroups, I only want to see collections. Is that possible?

What's a "collection"? A combines RAR and PAR set? The best way to limit it to sets of files is to use the min size filter. Depending on the group, I might have it set to 200 megs or 500,

Yes, that's a collection. Setting the min size filter isn't good enough. But based on your answer I see now that such a feature doesn't exist. I'll make a feature request out of it. Thank you very much for your response.

What exactly are you trying to hide? These days the meta-files like NFO and SFV's are included in the compacted sets so, that's a bunch of singleton files that don't show anymore.

You can already filter out any files you don't want to see with the filters. I'm not seeing a real reason for a specialty filter like this.

Everything else but collections.

Imagine I show a lot of movie groups in one tab, then I will have a lot of different files. Lot's of spam, but also a lot of perfectly fine files, large and small (!!!) but with a single click I want to view only collections. That is the goal. I do not wish to make a ton of filters for all kinds of stand-alone files so only the collections will show up.

Nice clean with a single click (or selection of the option to show collections only). No filter-magic needed . That's what I want. A no brainer.

Newsbin already groups a set of related files into a single entry in the GUI (which appears to be what you are calling a collection). Normally if you set a suitable size filter to eliminate any individual files that cannot be grouped in this way these will be all that is left.
