6.52 3288 - only a few days showing on internet search

Just upgraded to 6.52 and found that internet search is showing only a few days results - maximum of 23 days in one search. Altering age filter has no effect.

There is a limitation in internet search as to the number of results returned in a single request. If you use too generic a search term this can limit the number of days. However once you have a set of results there is a button to get the next older set of results for the given search term.

How many results are you getting? There's a hard cap of 2000 results per search so, if you're getting 2000 you're hitting max.

One way to make thing go back farther in time is to use a size filter to filter out the small crap. If you're looking for stuff > 500 megs for example, a 500 meg filter will remove a load of crap.

Most reports like this, it ends up people are using a generic term that gets match a lot so, they run through the 2000 results quickly. You can pull more results too, I think it's the 5th button in from the left top toolbar.

Thanks for the rapid response. Using a particular search term I was getting about 10 days worth over about 30 pages. Restricting to >100kb gives 98 days.
