Some more improvements and a couple of bug fixes.

Here is the summary of changes:

• Now shows a special icon when a .nfo file exists in the set. Look for a small "i" in a circle, like an information icon.
• Ctrl-R now reads all text content in the set including .nfo, .sfv, etc
• Add IFO as an allowed run type when launching from the Files tab.
• Fixed issue where autopar would not work if it can't download the smallest PAR file instead of using other available PAR files
• Fixed issue processing posts where the last part had an incorrect offset and length assigned to it. Symptom was file corruption for some posts.

This also fixes the problem where Autopar would delete some files it shouldn't have.

I don't know if it's just me, but after Beta 3 NewsBin took a huge hit in performance. Especially header imports take forever.
After switching back to Beta 3, everything is back to normal.
Any ideas?

After upgrading from B5, am I seeing left over .srr files. I have changed nothing in the configuration or filtering. I have an unrar filter set in the options with a filename reject of:

This was all working previously.

Because files like that are now included in the compacted set, I've had to change how the filters work. It'll be in the next version which should be RC1.

I just noticed this also. Haven't changed any settings but seems like it was limited to 2 meg down. Normally will use up all my down speed. I am on B4 and going to try B3 again.

Edit: Don't have B3 saved, will have to wait and see if it gets fixed.

I updated to b6 and it seems normal now. It was just during header import I noticed it.

Is there a setting to turn off the logging of files in the Files List tab? No files are being logged.

Which log file are we talking about?

In the "View" drop down menu after "Wish List" there is "Files". The <TAB> is called "Files List" - it's completely empty. I don't refer to it a lot, but I've never seem it empty.

Those records are stored in a file called "Downloaded.db3". You might want to exit Newsbin and delete that file. Then let Newsbin re-create it. New files should then populate the list.
