POC...I want my old newsbin back
1.Used all of my giganews, what the hell happened to "FILL Server"

2. [Par Process] Retry Failure Run out of retries..takes too long to reject the file or what ever it is doing instead of d/l it.

1 - You can run any version you like.

2 - Fill server has gone away because it only allowed 2 tiers of priority. 6.51 has full numbered priority.

- Set the primary server to Priority 1
- Set the secondary server to a higher number, 2 say.

It'll act just like fill servers. Do it in the server options.

3 - If a file has PAR files. It'll sit there if it can't repair the file waiting for you do do something with it. If the file doesn't have PAR files like image files. It gets N retries and then fails. I use 2 retries which is a couple minutes worth per file. If you have higher retries set, reducing it will reduce the amount of time the file sits there before it's rejected.

Why aren't the files downloading? Are you seeing 430 errors in the logging tab?
