Running out of disk space during extraction = corrupted file

Postby ThagaSa » Sat May 03, 2014 3:32 am

1. Download an archive
2. Newsbin begins extracting it
3. You run out of disk space (Newsbin alerts you with dialog)
4. Clear disk space
5. Newsbin resumes extraction
6. Output file will be corrupted

Running 6.52B2 Build 3191

Newsbin also deleted the rars/pars, which is by design of course, but it meant I had to re-download the whole thing.

Is this a bug or just a limitation?

Looking into it is on my todo list. The RAR library apparently doesn't tell me when it runs out of space. So, it says "A-OK" and I delete the rar files.

Thanks.
