Maybe they're bad. Email them to ts@newsbin.com and I'll check them out.

Gmail can't send as they are over 25mb. It used google drive and shared them so hopefully you get them ok.

I am getting this as well. Kind of. NZB loads with no files showing. Two different NZBs were sent to you. Thanks.

I had no issues loading your two monster NZB's Buggs. One represented a 500 gigs set and the other was 400 gigs.

You both might want to look into the global filter profile and make sure there's nothing in there that might block the files you're loading. I got an email with 2 other NZB's mentioned, was thinking it might be you Cav. Both loaded for me. Same answer, I think they're loading and getting filtered out.

Thanks. I checked the Global Filter area. Did have some stuff loaded in there. Am hoping deleting what was in there is the right answer? Altho that did not fix my problem. Any other ideas by chance?? Am at a total loss here. First time this has happened to me. Thanks again.

Did you email 2 NZB's or did I test someone else's NZBs?

What happens if you drag and drop the NZB's into the download list?

If it's blank, all the tabs, and you don't have a size or age range set, it shouldn't impact loading the NZB.

You can put stuff in there, you just have to make sure it's not blocking the files you really want.

1 - In the options select "Open Data Folder".

2 - Close Newsbin

3 - In the newly opened window, look for "Filters.db3". (Or plain "Filters")

4 - Move this to some other folder or delete it if you don't mind losing your filters.

5 - Restart Newsbin and try again.

Newsbin doesn't warn you about anything when it starts does it? Like "read only" something or other?

Are there any messages in the Logging tab after you attempt to load the NZB?

ok. woow. figured it out. just amazing. had a folder within a folder named 22apr...to download. and i just did a test to check what i am now stating. It seems Newsbin does not like a folder named with more than one . in it. So this is something that can possibly be figured out to overcome. Or remembered later on as a possible fix. Thanks for your quick replies and constant help.

Go under Options/Advanced and turn the logging level up to Debug to see the NZB load messages. With the logging level up, you should see messages when you try to load the NZB whether it fails or not. For example:

[19:39:27] DEBUG NZB File Load Notification: C:\Newsbin\blah.nzb Disposition: 3
[19:39:27] DEBUG NZB PostList Load Notification Processing: C:\\Newsbin\blah.nzb Disposition: 3

Here's some more questions:

1) Under Options/NZB Options, do you have "Download Double-Clicked NZB's selected?
2) What version of Newsbin are you running?
3) Which OS is installed in your Virtual Machine?

I was able to get it to load with 6.52 Beta in my XP VM fine.

Thanks guys for helping.
I'm using winxp sp3 and the newest official release of newsbin.
Downloading in unison the smaller of the two. Won't be done till tomorrow night. So I'm not gonna mess with newsbin right now.

Another reason for not wanting to mess with newsbin is that its speed is slow. 2mb or less when it does work. Sometimes it maxed my speed then dies to doing nothing then 1.3mb or so. In unison it's full 19mb/sec. So I don't get it. This in another thread when I post.

But then there's me not knowing how to get downloads in folders like in previous versions of newsbin where downloads are in folders named after what you downloaded. I posted about that already and don't want to download anymore till I can resolve this.
