New computer - trouble finishing download of headers

Got new computer to replace old one, installed newsbin and registered.

try to download headers, progress starts and downloads for a while, then suddenly a group will reset back to zero headers downloaded and start over. rarely does a group finish downloading all the headers.

worked fine on old computer.

any ideas what I doing wrong?

Are you sure it's not resetting and then starting to work on the rest of the headers. It'll go back to zero but, the total number of headers to download will be less too. Some servers disconnect after X amount of data transfer. Newsbin just re-connects and downloads from where it left off.

The one thing you don't want to do is "Download all Headers" over and over again. Then you will toss out all the records you downloaded previously.

Yeah, that looks like your software firewall is blocking the connections.

I'd try it without SSL and see if it works. Then try to figure out what's up with SSL.
