Newsbin 6.5.1 B2 Rar files

hi,

Never had a problem with Rar files before.

Just upgraded to 6.5 and noticed all my password protected downloads stopped automatically extracting.

I upgraded to 6.51 B2 and this doesn't work either. If I go to explorer and extract they work fine.

Do I need to change something or is this just broken, it used to work perfect before!

We put an MOTD message out about this. It's different now than before. Hopefully better.

The way to make this work is to add the password to the list in the "Options/RAR Passwords" menu. You can still assign the password the old way but, you have to add it to the list before you exit the window. This will be cleaner in the next beta.

If you add all the passwords for the day to the password list. Or add it to the passwords.txt file in the data folder. Newsbin will figure out what password to use automatically. I'm also going to be adding the ability to extract the password from the NZB Filename too. Some groups post with the password embedded in the NZB filename.
