6.50RC4: Status sort not working

I clicked on the Status tab to try sorting (the feature I'm most interested in) and the display went blank. Next I tried reloading the group without closing the existing tab and Newsbin hung.

This version is slower loading headers than 6.42

Status sorting, to be accurate is inherently slow. I suppose I need to toss up a progress bar when people status sort because it is slow. The problem is that the data to sort on doesn't just exist. It has to be generated with each sort so, that makes it slower than something like a date sort.
