Newsbin Search

Up front: whilst using other methods, I sofar have never been using the 'Search' -tab feature of Newsbin.
(Toolbar: View->Search)

Sorry for being a bit confused about this feature.

On the Newsbin website I read "Standard Search, no Auto-Renew, One Year, 500 searches per month: $30.00 USD"
Whilst not having a 'subscription', I nonetheless just tried this out and entered a word to search for.
Newsbin came up with a number of hits.

Is this something different from the subscription search?
Or do I have a number of 'free' searches?
In what way does newsbin search differ from -say- BinSearch?

We let anyone search. If you want to add these files to the download list, you have to have a subscription though.
