No Download--SOLVED

Had unable to create document problem latest beta fixed & allowed newbin to open again but now will not download anything. log file lists two entries:
[11:35:35] HIGH PAR Pausing: Enabled
[11:35:36] HIGH Par2Repair - Multi-core 1.5

Using Win8 64 reboot same problem.

Tried headers & files but no dl
Tried load backup configuration at restart also

Check your firewall or antivirus. Upgrading will cause some of these to think it's another program and block by default. If there was communication with the server you should see active connections in the connection tab, a failure to download something you specifically asked for will generate some sort of message in the logging tab, so what you've described suggests a complete inability to get at the server.

Turned firewall off same results
Loaded new trial copy on another wired computer functions normally Win7 64
Uninstalled rebooted reinstalled same problems

Very frustrating Hope I can get it working again on main computer

Also have 3 different servers setup none will dl been using this same setup for many years now with no problems

When you turned off your firewall, did you reboot your machine? Firewalls stay active in the background until you reboot.

yes rebooted & verified firewall was off on both public & private networks
imported my config file from nonworking to working copy on other machine & all is fine
even setup another new server 4th still no dl
would going backward to a non beta version be an option?

STRANGE changed firewall settings back rebooted tried newsbin & it started working
but now it stopped & will not take my registration key

Rebooted again now all seems fine why this happened after all these years of perfect
functionality is I guess going to be one of those unsolved mysteries of the universe!!

Tricky stuff. Glad you got it figured out.

Problem started again got it working tho

Somehow my server files must of gotten corrupted I removed old server setup &
reinstalled

Seems to be back to normal now
