Failed to create empty document

I've been a Newsbin user for several years and all of a sudden, when I launch Newsbin , I'm getting "Failed To Create Empty Document" message. I've restored to an earlier restore point. Uninstalled and reinstalled Newsbin. Still having the same problem. I'm not having this problem with any other software.
Can someone please help??!

Same thing happened to me today. I believe I was running Version 6.50 Beta 13. Clicked on a .nzb file today and got the "failed to create empty document" error. Newsbin wouldn't start. Tried just starting the program itself via the shortcut and going to the .exe file itself, no luck. Reboot, no luck. I went and installed the latest beta, Newsbin 6.50 Beta 14. It is now working ok for the time being.

Same problem here as well (Newsbin Pro 64 version 6 beta 13- win7 64bit).
Will try beta 14 now.

edit: installing the latest beta fixed my problem too.

I had this issue today as well.

I installed the latest beta over 6.42 to get around the Failed To Create Empty Document issue.

I also woke up to this problem today, tried lots of fixes that did not work.
So finally joined the board after being a member for years and did a quick search and found this topic.
The latest beta fixed my problem, I just hope other users who are not board members can get it working too.

OK That seemed to do the trick. I installed the new beta version 14 and everything seems to be working OK. Thanks for the help. I REALLY appreciate it.

Those are normal startup messages. What messages are there while items are queued for download?

Sometimes an upgrade will look like a different program to some firewall and Internet Security software so you have to tell them to let Newsbin have access to the Internet again. Maybe that's what your issue is.
