No Header download anymore

I downgraded from Beta14 to 6.42/2148. Since then there are no headerdownloads anymore.

What messages do you see in the logging tab?

None.

Also what concers me a bit is that the program now crashes very often.

There are always messages in the Logging tab. Are you sure you are looking in the right place? Are you initiating a header download? You aren't giving us very much information to work with so all we can do is guess at this point.

Without logging messages, I have nothing really to work with.

I'm skeptical that you see no logging messages when you try to download headers. Are you sure you're looking in the logging tab? Bottom rightmost tab normally. In the advanced options, you can set the logging level to "Debug".

The newest beta, prioritizes header imports for the tab you're currently looking at. 6.42 didn't. That means if you have headers importing, and a tab open you might not see new records until records for other groups import. If you look down at the status bar on the bottom, do you see a number in parens near the cache line? "(XXX)" ? The number represents the number of header blocks waiting to import.
