All Settings lost after restart

Hello,

yesterday i startet my Newsbin Client and all my Settings (Server, Download Cache, Subscribed Groups etc.) was lost.
I've deleted nothing and started the Client with the same User Account as the days before.

My System:
Windows 7 x64
Newsbin Pro 64 (Newest version from the Newsbin Server)

In the options menu, I'd try "load backup config on restart..."


Then when you restart try some of the listed configurations till you find a good one.

Not that I know of.

However one thing to be aware of is that Newsbin can run in the background for a little while after you select exit the GUI disappears doing housekeeping. Therefore if you exit Newsbin and immediately shutdown your machine you may interrupt this and that might cause the symptoms you describe.

If you want to be sure Newsbin ahs finished this end-of-run processing you need to use Task Manager to check the Newsbin process is not still running.

Newsbin stores the pointer to the NBI file in the registry. It could be what Itimpi is suggesting or could be that something is cleaning the pointer out of the registry.
