The application failed to initialize properly

Postby JPvR » Thu Sep 13, 2012 11:02 am

Hi,

I've just upgraded from 559 to 643 32bit version.

I'm now getting a "The application failed to initialize properly" error.

Even a clean install of 643 gives this error.

I'm using an VIA Epia mini ITX system with Windows XP 32 bit (sp3) could this be an issue?

Does it say anything else? I'd expect a different error if it was a problem with the CPU.

Makes me think a DLL is missing. Maybe Language.dll.

No,

After all I did a clean install of Windows XP. Still same error.

I'm leaning towards this being an issue then. I don't really know. I know it runs fine on Atom processors.

You're fast in replying!

The processor I'm using is old (2004) I know, however it does the job with the nb5 version. I think I'll have to stick to it for now. Image link not allowed for unregistered users
