Can't download new posts/headers the last 4 days

4 days ago everything was fine... Now I experience, that from a specific minute on that day no newer posts/headers are downloaded any more after double-clicking a group or clicking download newest. But downloading files from a group is ok, absolutely no problems with that.

Check the logging tab for any meaningful messages. If something went wrong, there will be an indication there. It's useful to know which version you're running, too.

Ok, will check this. The version I'm running was 6.30 and is now 6.40 release candidate. Behaviour is the same.

What server are you using?

Are you sure people are posting?

What group is it?

The server is giganews and all the groups I tried were posting (which I can see now!). Don't know why, but from yesterday 10:30 pm everything is fine again !? Just 4 days of blocked headers, now it behaves like normal as before... (voodoo?)

So it's solved.. for the moment

Glad it's working for you.

If it starts happening again, tell me the group and server and we can work on it. Through logging and some settings, it's pretty easy to see Newsbin talking to the server and figure out what's going on.
