6.40 RC1 Crash

Started having this crash in the new version.

Running windows 7 x64

Only started since RC1 installed.

Any ideas?

Going to need more information, can you whittle down the scenario a bit? For example, does a certain operation trigger it? Have you tried completely disabling any antivirus? Does this happen if you try running as admin? Anything at all unusual about your setup? AMD/Intel? Running anything else at the time?

Basically Quade doesn't ship product out the door, even a beta, if he knows it crashes. If it is crashing, then something unexpected is happening, and as much info about how you're running things differently than most of us could provide a clue. Sadly those crash logs are of little use except saying 'newsbin crashed'.

Sorry, was super vague when posted that.

It happened during the night but looks like it happened directly after an auto unrar completed. Just looking at the time stamps of the last file downloaded and the file extracted and almost exactly the same.

Hope this helps.

Will keep an eye on it over the weekend, so hopefully will be able to give more details.

Whatever was the issue in RC1, seemed to be resolved in RC2.
