Secure or not secure ?

Hi.

This is sort of a technical support question. I'm seriously considering buying this very handy tool, but I'm wondering if - when I punch my credit card details - the 'line is secure' ? My browser doesn't show anything that would indicate that a secure site is being used. I'm currently using Google Chrome.

When I make it to here, my Opera browser shows a lock

Chrome shows a little padlock on the URL bar and shows the same

https://www.newsbin.com/users/signup.php?product_id=6

Like Opera. If I click on the lock, it shows the secure protocol the site is using. So, from that I determined the connection is secure (I know it was but, I wanted a way for you to check it too).
