Failed Download [PAR Process] Single File download Failure

Postby ppan » Mon Jun 25, 2012 2:30 am

In the Group Tab, the status field shows "Failed Download [PAR Process] Single File download Failure " for several posts and the file is not downloaded.
What does that mean?

Typically I'd say this is a sign of a DMCA take down and/or downloading a file that has no file contents. Are there any other errors?

I don't think that this applies in this case. There are several hundred messages like this in various picture sets (individual files; each ~100-200 KB). Several of the files in each set is had this status and were not downloaded.
The Logfile.txt shows the same message.
Adding to download queue again with "Bypass Filter" doesn't help (file is not downloaded).

p.s Is there some way of searching the messages in the Logging Tab?

What happens if you select one of these files from a post list and hit "Ctrl-R" to read it into a notepad window? You'll probably have to remove it from the download list first. Then look at the contents and see if there's a file encoded in there.

If you PM some specific examples, I'll try it here.
