unrared Videos all in one Folder

Postby penoge » Mon Jun 04, 2012 7:31 pm

Hello,
I found that some downloaded videos which were automatically unrared, where in the same Video_TS folder, not in new folders with numbers as VIDEO_TS_1 ... This is very bad, because then I cannot download these files while doing other things.

You probably want to set the "Save to unique folder named for source file" option in the AutoPAR options. If that doesn't work let me know.

Thank you for your reply,
yes this works, tried it last night. But this option should be checked normally by installation.

Depends on the user and what they download. I would never want that set myself, I don't have identically named things downloading to the same location and I don't want naming altered from the original. I believe the thinking is 'by default, don't muss with the original naming'. There's a bunch of options for where downloaded items can go.

Maybe It should apply when I know there are identical files in the folder. I've tried that though and people complained. There doesn't seem to be a single correct solution.
