Headers Not Saving In 6.33 Build 1882

Just updated to the new build.

When I download headers everything seems fine. Briefly there is a New Post count. If I try to view the group it starts to load and than the count zeros out. I've tried saving the config file, exiting and reloading Newsbin as well as running as both user and administrator.

Bottom line for some strange reason it wont save headers. I've never had this problem before. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't reproduce this.

I cleared a group and did a "download latest". Saw the count, loaded the group and all was well. Are you sure your PC's date is correct?

Might be worth picking a single, not particularly large groups, purge it and re-download then see what happens.

You don't have any filters set do you?

Computer date and time are correct. No filters.

I will try a smaller group, as you suggested.

By the way, thanks for the great support. The few times I have needed a question answered the response has been very fast and usually gets to the bottom of things quickly. If I still have the problem with the small group I will delete everything. Then do a fresh install and see if by chance something corrupted during the upgrade install.

Just to clarify, no filters doesn't mean selecting 'none', you should use the little filter button to the selector's left to completely disable them. It's possible you inadvertently added something all inclusive to the global reject. Also, keep an eye on the logging tab when updating, perhaps a permission issue.

Even though there were no filters, I went ahead and disabled them just to see if it would fix the issue.

I reinstalled newsbin and all is fine now, I guess something corrupted in the install. Most likely just a one time thing.
