Files not unraring if nfo,sfv etc are missing

I noticed that if i download a set of rar files that they will not get unrared if a few files are missing such as nfo,ssr and sfv,this only happens when these files are contained in the par recovery,all the rars are verified good,the rar files will unrar once i download the missing files which aren't needed to unrar the file set.Any way to get the files to unrar without needing those other files since at times they are not available

What version are you using? Newsbin should be downloading the PARS and repairing them into existence.

I'm using 6.31 build 1877,i only download the initial par2 and then any other as needed but 99% of the rars never need to be fixed so i do that to save on download bandwidth.

It sounds like you've disabled autopar and are manually handling the pars. Nothing wrong with that, but then it's up to you to micro manage the process. If you used the default settings, newsbin will only download the pars it needs, if any, and repair anything missing or damaged. Even when you add pars to the download queue, it only actually downloads them when needed.

Autopar isn't disabled,i did include the pars in earlier versions of newsbin pro and it d/l all of them when not needed,i'll start adding pars again since you mention it will only d/l the pars needed,thanks for the help.

If you just add the whole block, rars and pars together Newsbin can manage it. There is an option in the autopar options which controls whether it downloads all the pars or not.
