Download list populates very slowly

I've had this issue ever since I started using V6 and haven't been able to figure out the cause. With V5, I could select many files to download, and they would immediately appear in the download list, and then start downloaded. But with V6, the download list populates very slowly while the downloads starts. What I've started doing is pausing the downloads, until the download list finishes populating.
Any ideas?

Adding to the download list is disk speed limited. It has to get the information on how to download and it has to add the data to the downloads.db3. What kind of drive is the data folder on? Is the data folder and the drive you download to the same disk?

I'd also like a solution to this problem. Earlier versions did not have this.

You might want to delete your downloads.db3 and let Newsbin re-make it. I'm have no speed issues adding multiple gigs to the download list. This assumes you're using headers. NZB files should be faster to add an Internet Search will be the slowest.

As I said in the previous post, it's limited by disk IO in the case of local records and the internet in the case of search records.
